Maximilian Martinez

MaximilianMartinez takes his inspiration from drawings of certain situations as well as digital and analog photographs.

Early stage of his artistic career , he pursued to incorporate sculptural elements and the depth surface in his paintings , such as paintings of close-ups (microscopically filtered views).These paintings were produced while he was at the Kunstakademie Karlsruhe / branch in Freiburg.

Over the time, the extent of the object-relatedness appeared into his painting.

Currently, Martinez lives and works in Mannheim and has embedded his artistic work in a project called “barac / art / laboratory / social”.

He is currently busy reproducing objects in the paintings that are related to carelessness in the human-made environment.
